I'm usually very careful in securing my Moto X in my jacket pocket or a holster. So yesterday, I was trying to untie by boots and I heard something hit the cement floor really hard. It was my Moto X. Fortunately, I had just purchased an Otter Commuter case for it. So glad I did!

Re: M8 hype I've owned HTC, LG, Samsung, Blackberry and now Moto X phones. I have to say the Moto X is a simply but robust phone with quality parts. All my other phones have cheap & low quality parts. I've had bad experiences with HTC & LG phones. So I try not to waste my money on HTC & LG phones.

Coming from the Nexus 5 & Z10, I have nothing but praises for the Moto X. I like the form factor, Active Display, build quality (no rattling parts like the N5)...I can keep going but you should try it for yourself. Edit: Get the 32Gb version if you can.

Yep, installed (sideloaded) 4.4.2 just now. Too early to tell if there are issues. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

Looks like this is an Android 4.4 issue. Also happening on Nexus 4 after 4.4 upgrade. Hope they get this fixed soon.
