How can I get the Ring Video Doorbell to work with a Samsung Galaxy s7?

I am the OP, but I am logged in, now. I found a work around for the power saving mode. Going to "Settings", "Battery", "More", "Optimize battery usage" for, "All apps", and then turn off "Optimize battery usage" for the Ring app will allow the notifications to come while the phone is in power...

Galaxy S5 - How to get bluetooth to auto connect every time I get in the car?

This is what fixed the problem in my Honda CRV and in my wife's Lexus RX 350. If you do not check the box to tell it to always connect and not ask again (I do not remember the exact wording of the prompt, but it is something along that line), the phone will ask you if you want to connect each...

S Health cycling off by 5 miles!!!

This week I compared CycleDroid to my Garmin on the same 21 mile route from my previous post. The Garmin measured 21.03 miles with 793 feet of elevation gain, 756 feet of elevation loss, 246 feet minimum elevation, and 442 feet maximum elevation. Again, this is very close to the values from...

Will Samsung update Galaxy S5 to Android L before or after HTC updates the One M8?

I have not seen a predicted name, so I will offer two suggestions - Licorice or Lemon Meringue.

S Health cycling off by 5 miles!!!

I compared my Garmin Edge 305 to S Health on a 21 mile ride. According to Bikeroutetoaster, which has always been very accurate, the ride was 21.0 miles with 517 feet elevation gain, minimum elevation 236 feet, and maximum elevation 431 feet. The Garmin Edge 305 matched the distance and...

S Health cycling off by 5 miles!!!

I have not tried using my 5S as a cycling computer, but I have a friend who had a similar experience when using an iPhone compared to the Garmin Edge 305. I will download the programs you named and compare them to my Garmin Edge next week.

    S5 Vibration Issues

In <Settings>, <Sound>, <Vibration intensity> be sure that the intensity is set to its highest position. This is still weak compared to other phones I have had. In <Settings>, <Sound>, <Vibration>, select "Ticktock". I have found that this setting is the most noticeable of the choices.

    Deleted emails reappear

This appears to work for me, which is further evidence that the problem with the checkboxes not deleting e-mail from the server is a bug in the latest update to the default e-mail program.

    Deleted emails reappear

When I try this, I cannot receive mail from my AT&T e-mail account. AT&T is IMAP, and not POP3. If I do a manual configuration, say it is POP3, and then manually change the server settings to imap.mail.att.net and the port to 993, it still cannot download my mail. It is interesting that I have...

    Samsung Galaxy S5 bluetooth issue

My wife's car is a 2013 Lexus GS350, and there is no problem connecting to it as long as you tell the phone to always allow the connection when it prompts you.

    Samsung Galaxy S5 bluetooth issue

When you connected for the first time, there was a pop-up message on your phone asking for your permission to allow the connection. Unless you clicked on the box to always allow or to not ask again (I cannot remember how it is worded), you will get this problem. The car will try to connect to...
