Are you using the old rating system or the new one? They recently rolled out a new system where you're asked a series of questions and get your rating at the end. Maybe it would give you a more detailed overview when you come to that question.

Re: advertising website links being placed in file manager folders on nexus7 I would guess a virus, but if you scanned and found nothing, that's strange. Are you using a custom ROM or a standard one? There might be a little something extra packed in your custom ROM that you don't know about... :)

I was wondering the same... seemed a bit strange that they would remove one of the basic default apps, but oh well.

Re: Buying Nexus 7 on Amazon.co.uk and using it in different country in EU As long as the device isn't carrier-locked, you should have no problem using it with a SIM card in Slovenia. I'm also not sure about the warranty though.

Same here. Wiping my cache partition fixes the problem but only temporarily... it's back to a bad state in a matter of days. Привет :D

My performance on my Nexus 7 sadly went down after installing 5.0... and while this does seem to do the trick, it often only works temporarily :(

I had to manually flash 4.4 to my tablet after trying out 5.0. Waiting for a more polished Lollipop (with better performance on older hardware) but I'm not sure if that's even planned.

I guess, putting the changes aside, your mileage may vary according to your hardware. Material design makes everything look/work nice, but 5.0 is lagging a bit on my 2012 Nexus 7, sadly.

Not with the standard launcher, sadly. I actually also needed a launcher that supports that at one point. The closest I found was the "Windows Phone" style launcher, which gives you an alphabetic list of apps.

Strangely I'm getting some lag on my 2012 Nexus 7, but it could be because I flashed a ROM manually, maybe I should wait for a proper OTA update.
