I just noticed my battery life on Nexus 4 improved with this update. I'm a heavy user and so far today I've had my device on for 5hrs with almost 2 hours on screen time and I'm at 70%

Yes, the battery % is the usage based on your last charge. Or since the last time it was connected to a charger - so if you were using Chrome heavily that should be why.

Also, the first thing I've noticed is how fast the operating system is compared to my Galaxy S2 - and to a lesser extent my Nexus 7. I don't know it just seems more "buttery" even though the Nexus 7 is 4.2.1 and the Galaxy S2 was rooted running 4.1.2.
