Not to hijack your thread but how do you highlight a word you want to correct? On my Oneplust 5T, I would double tap the word and it would highlight and I could tap backspace once to erase it. Doesn't work on S10 and I have to manually backspace the entire word and start again. Edit: Nm...

scroll down notification shade, click the 3-dot icon (not sure what it's called), select Status Bar and toggle Show Battery percentage. Not very intuitive location.

I went with the 5X. Ultimate decider was price. 32GB 5X was $349 for black friday and I got the A9 for $499. The A9 is not worth spending $150 more than the 5X. I wasn't super fond of either phone. Hopefully next year there are better choices available in the 5" size bracket.

The backup will restore wifi passwords. App logins are not saved though, which is a good thing IMO.

I have the exact same apps on an HTC A9 with zero lag.

Good to know I'm not the only one with this issue. I too experience unacceptable lag. I will be exchanging my unit and if the replacement is the same, I'm returning it.
