LG has perfected the idle drain for their devices, I have a spare Lg L90 to use as a wifi device, that thing drain about 1% for every 10 hrs of idle. The battery graph almost a flat line.

I too would recommend it. It's great not having to worry about your phone's battery life. The latest update addressed a good number of problems that people have posted on here, data usage with wifi on, improved battery life, some reported louder speaker for calls as well.
