If you tap on the icon then drag the screen down from the top you can access the app. For me it is the Samsung Apps app. Hitting the "Clear Data" button stopped the download(?). 'Not sure if this will work for you. Also, mine is a new device ... you may lose data if you do this. Good luck. :)
