After 5 months with my 3rd (YES 3RD) replacement V30, it suddenly won't connect to home wifi. Tried forgetting network and rebooting. Still won't connect. Waiting to see if work WiFi will be the same way. Other home devices connecting perfectly. Last time I ever buy LG.

I personally enjoy the high contrast theme because everything is black instead of white, i.e. reading mode or whatever you want to call it. Easier on the eyes and on the battery. But there are many options on the app store. Even vanilla mode isn't too bad. Lots of customization.

Same exact thing happened to me but only after a few months of already owning the phone. It's a defect some kind of connector with the display. Where did you purchase the phone? If it is through a carrier they should be able to replace it no questions asked. LG has a two year warranty on these...

Same thing happened to my phone earlier this month, T-Mobile version. Sent it to LG, they claimed water damage which was bull****, sent it back to me, I took it to T-Mobile who looked at it and ordered me a new G4 right on the spot. The phone was in mint condition, no damage of any kind visible...

Update on my dead phone. So after LG refused to replace the phone by stating it had "water damage" I took it back to t mobile, explained how it shut off and kept booting, showed them the device which looked fresh out of the factory and not damaged in any way and they ordered me a brand new unit...

Re: Battery problem? I think part of it is this crap app called t mobile my account. On previous phones I was able to disable this app. Unfortunately, it came pre-loaded on the G4. It collects your account activity like every minute. I hate this thing. Sent from my LG-H811 using Tapatalk
