It'll be interesting to see how Samsung Pay and the others handle the switch to EMV cards later this year or first of next. How they handle sending the chip info to the new terminals, if they can.

Yeah I have the one for the Droid Turbo, Verizon guy said it was exactly the same as mine but good. But you are right, the orange band is a little odd on my phone.

Long time lurker, but new to posting. Figured I could introduce myself. I work at a bank, as a manager of a team of software application support techs. I've had an android phone since the second generation of Droid phones, from that phone I moved to the Nexxus (2, I think) then to the Note 2...

My parents pre-ordered last Saturday and got their phones Wednesday. We were in the store in the afternoon and the cases were up and stocked. There's not a lot, but enough to find a decent case. Phones are at the store but they can't sell until Friday.

I'd prefer to have a SD card slot, but I think wardrive is right. Only phone geeks are concerned. Half my friends don't care about the SD slot and the other half have iPhones....so..yeah. Plus, how about phone companies asking them to do away to get higher data plans?

I have had mine since Jan 2013 or so, I get random freezes, stopped using Chrome and it still happens, but the battery is still going strong, so I got that going for me. It's a great device, just ready for a newer one!. Maybe less bezel would be nice.
