Sorry if I missed it if you gave your reason for wanting the phone to face outward, but unless that's an absolute dealbreaker, I highly recommend the Seidio Active. It's generally better/safer to have your phone facing inward anyway...now I'm curious why you want it facing out.

I have the Seidio back for the extended battery, with the Hyperion extended battery. My pictures come out just dandy. Try the Seidio back...I'm pretty pleased with my Seidio Active case and holster, too. And no, I don't work for Seidio.

That's outstanding - much thanks for the update. Mine should be here today or tomorrow. About how long does the phone have to be off while charging to get up to the full 100%? It'd be sweet if it could knock that out in the hour or so while I'm at the gym.

I think it'll be a long time, if ever, before Mophie makes a case that accommodates the extended battery for the S3. That puppy should last a solid couple of days without a charge if it happens, though. Just curious - do you have a belt-clip holster that you use with your 4200 extended battery...
