Is the 8.0 S2 worth the buy?

I bought both sizes to see which one I would like more and settled on the 8 inch as I needed portability more than anything else. I liked the size, screen, feel of it but I ended up returning it as well as I couldn't get more than 4 hours of screen time. I also had other battery issues as well...

    Blackberry reception?

While reception will depend on your carrier and location, as someone who uses both BB and Android for the last four years, BB phones have consistently better signal reception. I've yet to use an Android phone (or Apple one for that matter) that is as good, but I haven't tried HTC. This is...

    OK oneplus work for anyone?

I had trouble with the training part as well. The problem for me was that you are supposed to speak while the microphone is red and the window/time you have to speak is really short before it jumps to blue for 'processing'. (In reality, they should have the colour when you need to speak green...

OnePlus One L Update is Almost Here

I actually think I'll be going back to 11S. I did a clean install using fastboot of the update, wiped it and started fresh, and I am having just a bit too many issues. The two main ones for me is I find performance a bit (some things are fine but in other areas, things just lag... much more so...

    Oxygen or CM12?

That's good to know. Means I'll have to hold off updating to 12 until I know for sure that it works.

    Oxygen or CM12?

I'll add another issue I found today... ANT+ wouldn't work under Oxygen. So, I reinstalled CM11S since with the weather finally warming up, I need ANT+ for my fitness apps. Hopefully CM12S/COS12 will be good out of the gate or I'll stick on CM11S until the next update is out.

OPO vs. BB Passport battery life

That's good to know I guess. I used to get about 2 full days with my OnePlus One before weird battery drains started in the last month or so. And I get about a good day and half on my Z30 which has a smaller battery than the Passport. I still want to try the Passport again (owned it for a...

    Oxygen or CM12?

Well, the issues I've found so far are: 1) Swiping down from the top doesn't fully load the notification bar as it seems to stop almost half way. If I do a full slow swipe down, it fully loads but a normal swipe down causes it to 'stick'. 2) Smart unlock by location isn't working at all so...

OnePlus One L Update is Almost Here

I can't believe they aren't even giving an update. They must realize they are making themselves look worse by not telling people they messed up and missed another deadline. Personally, I don't care when it comes really since I'm not optimistic the update wont bring new bugs and I can't really...

APK file outside of google play store is not getting installed on oneplus one

Are you running the app that gives you the blue band to cover the yellow at the bottom of the screen? If so, you need to disable it to run APK files. It's a known bug.

Google's Email app isn't compatiable with CM 11

The stock native email app (non-gmail) that is found on the Nexus phones isn't compatible but the stock email app on the OnePlus One is essentially the same. I used it on my OPO and I don't think it was any different than the native email app I had on my Nexus 5. In fact, I was quite happy...

Setup Hotmail/Outlook with IMAP on Sony Xperia Z3

Question - Is there a reason you are using IMAP instead of EAS as I would assume EAS would be better, no (faster, plus contact and calendar sync)? I'm assuming the Z3 supports EAS that is, or that it comes with the same native email app that comes on the Nexus devices?

    Z3 or Nexus 6

Sold my Nexus 5 last week in prep for the Nexus 6 but at that price ($800 CDN for 64GB), I'm going to pass. Now considering the Z3 as I can probably get it for $200 less than the Nexus 6 (sure it will only have 16GB of space but you have microSD to bump it up to more than the N6). While not as...

Google Shamu: Motorola Nexus 6 (Nexus X)

cough-overpriced-cough At least from Google. Maybe the contract price on carriers will make it palatable.
