New Google Security update released on VZW, my phone got a promt to install this today. Has anyone done this yet and were there any issues?

My Phone did this for the first time a few days ago. I wonder if Verizon did this on purpose to make us buy new phones soon.

Read the description on the update but still wondering...can anyone confirm if it now blocks Unlocking the phone and installing custom ROMs?

They could probably get away with DNA 2 and omit Droid. I'm guessing they would just change the whole name anyway so it wouldn't look like a sequel.

Been there. Had the 1 Samsung Galaxy ( Fascinate on Verizon) and I couldn't stand their UI. Years later and it's still the same. I don't like the colors on their AMOLED screens either, LCD3 all the way! For me the build quality on Galaxy and Note Phones feels cheap.

Took this a few days ago from Monte Lussari in Italy while on vacation. Used HTC Droid DNA on Landscape setting. No edits done.

Re: What will it take for you to upgrade ? I've seen nothing come out since the DNA that I would consider to be better. That said, I wouldn't mind the MOTO X now that they have a 64Gb version. I'll wait til my 2 yr contract is finished, maybe there will be a new Nexus phone by then.

I haven't found a way yet. I actually prefer the previous version of Sense.

Has anyone tried using a Fitbit with the new stock 4.3 update?
