S7 Edge - Sprint Nougat Update

    Re: Sprint Nougat Update I'm a non-beta Sprint S7 user in California. I got the update last night (2/21/2017 around 11 pm) without having to check for updates. It's Android System 7.0. Here's the text of my announcement screens: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Software Update The latest...

    S7 Nougat update postponed

On page one of this thread is a mention of a Sprint S7 update that is not for Nougat. Here are its details. Sprint's update page for the S7 lists this patch as released on 1/16/2017. Version G930PVPU4APL6. My Sprint S7 phone had Android 6.0.1 before the update and still has 6.0.1 after. My...

    Sprint June security update

On my S7, it looks like this update fixes the always-tiny font size bug introduced in Messages with last months update. Now under Messages > More > Font size you can "Use device font sizes" or you can turn that off and use a font size slider, which actually works.

    New Update Sprint G930PVPU2APE1

To racingvike - It looks like the 6/27/2016 update fixes the always-tiny font size bug introduced in Messages with the 5/26/2016 update. Now under Messages > More > Font size you can "Use device font sizes" or you can turn that off and use a font size slider, whose setting works.

Calendar descriptions truncated in week view

(OP) I installed Business Calendar 2 from Appgenix, and its free version has all the features that are broken or missing in the S7's built-in Samsung calendar (and more). So it's my solution. I'll just ignore the built-in calendar app. Thanks for your feedback. Posted via the Android Central App

Calendar descriptions truncated in week view

On my S3 (Kit Kat) and S5 (Lollipop), I always used the stock Samsung Calendar app in week view, synced to my Google calendar. On my new S7 (Marshmallow 6.0.1) on Sprint, week view on the stock calendar app only shows part of the first word of the description, which is not very useful. It...

Protective Case That is Easy to Get On and Off

I have the "acase superleggera pro dual layer protection case" which sounds similar to the Incipio Silacrylic. The left and right buttons are covered and work well. Top and bottom ports are uncovered. Comes in six colors. Sleek and protective, but it makes the S3 a bit thicker than I'd like...
