The speaker wire and charging port were bad. My stepson had tried to repair the charging port and did more damage than good to the phone.

My Galaxy s4 has been working fine. Tonight I have no sound from ringtones, notifications, etc or, when phone is turned on. I have checked all volume settings and all are on max. I hear fine when making or receiving calls. The phone does not ring, just, vibrates. What do I need to do? Thank you
