OK I know now what doze is but how do I know if and when my phone is in doze ? and if is it's related to doze then what do I do ?

Hi, I have a Galaxy j5 with android 6.0.1. Marshmallow. When my phone goes into screen timeout I don't get anymore notifications. And there's no way to disable the screen timeout (unless I install a 3rd party app) It's really pissing me off coz what's the use of notifications (reminders,..) if...

Hi TIM, I got the same problem... But your solution baffles me.. How can you get notifications that rely on an internet connection when your WIFI is turned off ??
