Asking for advice - Moto X Pure Edition Bluetooth issue

Jerry, I'm not asking for tech support. I've been a reader here for years and, while I'm sure you could fix my problem, I don't expect that you're in the business of free customer service in your spare time. What I'm looking for is a little direction to help me solve a unique problem which you...

Why I still want a new Nexus tablet...

I have the Nexus 7 (2013) and I still use it daily. I've looked into replacing it, but everything I've seen has the same basic, fatal flaw. I want a device with a pocketable form factor, with moderate specs and consistent, timely software updates. Samsung makes some nice tablets. Amazon Kindle...

    Release date for Lollipop?

OK, it looks like Phil was all over this earlier today. He linked to an internal site which will let you get notified when something drops: https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/software-upgrade-news/g_id/1949

    Verizon-Bound Droid Turbo

These are great specs, but coming from a Droid Maxx I won't be interested until I see details on the battery.

    Case for your Maxx

That links to another case that I've never seen before. I might take a flyer on it though, since it's cheap and has a kickstand. Here's a link to the DualPro: Amazon.com: Incipio MT-302 DualPRO SHINE for the Motorola DROID Maxx - Titanium Silver/ Obsidian Black - Carrying Case - Retail...

Does anyone have details on the water-resistant coating?

Thank you, that is correct. I've heard references to the nano coating as part of the manufacturing process. I am relieved, however, to hear that it passed the clumsy waitress test! Nothing like real-world testing for validation...

Does anyone have details on the water-resistant coating?

Just curious, I've heard this mentioned a couple times but haven't seen any specifics on it. Does anyone have information on the water-resistant coating and what we can expect from it?

A couple days in with the Maxx: My experience

Came from a Note 2 on Sprint and couldn't be happier with this phone. I'm at 27% battery after >47 hours with over 4 hours of screen "on" time. The only complaint I have is the lack of an SD card slot. I have a class 10, 64gb card that I'd like to use.

    Pen Tile display?

I don't know much about display technology, but I can say without a doubt that the screen looks fantastic. If the trade off is less resolution for more battery life, I think it was the right call. This thing is bright enough to see in nearly direct sunlight and it really looks great. I'm coming...

Traded my Note 2 for the Maxx today

I did the same yesterday and so far, no regrets! This phone has a great mix of features and solid build. I love the screen and don't miss the S-pen, which I did not use much. The only downer for me is the lack of support for additional storage.
