Happy New Year everybody!!

I am extremely thankful for the friends and family that I have. I'm also thankful for having the life I have because I know that there is always someone who may have it worse, which is terrible. Happy Holidays everyone and stay safe!

I'm currently using CM9 beta1pre3 and while I was listening to music my phone froze and turned off. I turned it back on and it's been stuck on the CM9 boot animation forever. How can I fix this?

This happens to be with both group messages and when I'm receiving pictures through text. In both cases, a download button will show up but nothing happens once pressed upon. The group messages I get come from iPhone users, but the pictures have been from any Android device.

I'm not sure about the Acer Ring, but to capture your screen all you have to do is press both the "Power" and "Volume Down" buttons at the same time and hold it for about a second. It should then show that it took a screenshot. :)

I have a few questions.. 1) What is the difference between the CM9 and AOKP builds? 2) Would it be better to get Alpha 7 rather than Alpha 8 of CM9? 3) Is there a detailed tutorial anywhere on how I can install this? It's been a while since I've done something similar with the HP Touchpad...
