I have the A70 on Rogers in Canada. I have not had an update since December even though it is supposed to have quarterly updates. Other networks in Canada released the update on May 25 to Android 10. This is obscene for a $700 phone.

I have a Samsung A70...still running Dec 2019 security. Never Samsung again.

Just get a OnePlus One. It is by far the best value on the market and it is a terrific phone. Go to their site and register and follow the links to requesting an invite. The more posts you make the better your chance at an invite.

Make sure that you make full backups of your phone. If you use the Nexus Toolkit it has a great help file. I ran into a temporary problem as my phone is rooted. I had to separately flash a new version of SuperSU. It is fun to play. That is one of the benefits of a Nexus phone.

Absolutely not. BTW the difference between yakju and takju is that takju has Google Wallet and more dictionaries. You can flash either.

I suspect that you haven't converted your phone from yakjuux to either yakju or takju. Check online forums on how to do this or use the Wugfresh Nexus Toolbox. Your phone is still locked to the network. This was the case with all Galaxy Nexus phones purchased on contract in Canada. It will...
