Screen shot shows a day of battery use. The numbers aren't very different an hour after a full charge and leaving the phone untouched.

I can answer my own question. I applied the update to my S5 and it is apparent Bluetooth is still the top consumer on the battery if I choose to leave it on. I think I'm ready to pack it in with Samsung here. Too many nuisance problems.
