Quicker way to Kill Apps on Nexus 7 (2013) with Lollipop 5.0 update?

Whenever there's a post about killing apps there's invariably a suggestion that it's not necessary for the reason stated above. I'd like to share why I think that's wrong, or at least not working for me. If I leave my phone on for an extended period - more than a day or so, performance drops...

    Smart lock broken?

There's a Google help item somewhere about this which I can't find at the moment, but it tells you to get the map corrected! Here's how you do it. On your phone, search for your house in Google Maps. Click the white section at the bottom of the screen to get the location details/street view...

Help !! Galaxy S3 Freezing every few minutes. unresponsive.

It's probably worth looking up where your local Samsung service centre is. Call in and get them to flash the firmware, they should do it while you wait. That would eliminate one bunch of possible causes before going though the hassle of returning it to Samsung.

Help !! Galaxy S3 Freezing every few minutes. unresponsive.

I know this may sound far-fetched, but are any of you using a gel-type protective cover on your phone? My phone was playing up in the way described by many of you, and scrapping the rubbery cover I had bought for it back in April fixed the problem immediately. Don't ask me how this works. I...
