Go to System Settings/Account Sync. Select the account and choose your sync settings for Calendar, Contacts, and Gmail. You can use Titanium to Restore you MMS. I have the paid version but there should be option in the free version.

Apex for ICS and Launcher Pro for GB. Apex has scrollable dock like Launcher Pro. Apex allows you to long press to create home screen shortcuts for widgets and Apps. I tried a couple of other ICS launchers but they were all buggy with certain apps and widgets.

Shiny is part of it. For me Rooting allowed me to get rid of the bloat and manage internal and external memory. Most of my favorite apps require root and you can better manage app permissions. I went to IHO because that was where the development was. Same reason I run Win7, newest Linux distros...

Voice Search - Yes this is an issue but easy to fix. Uninstall Voice Search. Go to Market and download Voice Search. Install and all should be well.

Re-flash seemed to cure the 3g problems. I am surprised at how stable this is compared to Quatrimus (sic?) ICS. I don't think my wife is ready to upgrade from IHO but for me this is now my daily. I have had zero force closes in almost 24 hours. MMS doesn't seem to work. I will check the thread...

I have been trying out the Quatrimus builds for my OV (old OV with bad mic) and the force closes were a problem even with no OC. Market was a problem but it could also force close sitting at idle. I had been sticking with IHO for my daily (new OV). I tried CAI and I have not had a single force...
