Weird. I have that issue when I have headphones plugged in. I have a set of beats by dre wired. And astros wired. Volume just goes down at random. I just bought beats by dre wireless and no longer have the problem and the volume is louder. I think it's something to do with the phone...

And to answer your question about the numbers. Google music is exclusive and has their own file naming. The music I bought a long time ago and played in poweramp was all labeled wrong. The music I have downloaded through Google music subscription can only be played in Google music player...
