My speakers actually have an input jack on the front of them, so I will get the 3.5mm cable and give it a whirl! There is more than one way to skin a cat (and an IT department)!

Is there a way to do this via a cable and NOT wifi?

I've never done this before and would like to know a few things: Is this possible? What cable do I need to do this? Spotify access has been shut down at my work, but I have unlimited data on my phone so I'd like to use that instead. Please advise and thank you!

I just did this yesterday with an apparently called Easy Tether Lite. Made my cell on 4g a wireless hotspot for free!

Does it do it when it charging or all the time?

Well, I don’t think that I am turning off all data. I can still send/ receive texts and make/receive phone calls.

I go to the notification area (swipe down from home screen) and turn off "Mobile Data".

That's not the way it's working for me. When I turn off the data connection, the Gmail app says there is no connection even when I'm connected to WiFi, so I am unable to get my email.

I?ve done some searching online and can?t find an answer to my issue. I want to force the Gmail native Android app to use Wifi, and not the mobile data connection. Is there a way to do this? If not, could you please recommend an email app for Android that would allow me to accomplish this...
