    Google wallet

It actually is true. The carriers no longer have any control over Google Wallet's tap and pay functionality. The T-Mobile Note 3's NFC controller is unsupported in the current version of KitKat, however. It should be working in future builds, though.

s4 t-mobile got tap to pay from Google

Re: s4 t-mobile got tap to pay from Google wth The NFC Chip in the T-Mobile Note 3 hadn't been integrated into the Google Framework, yet. It should work with the next update, if what I skimmed on the internet is true.

USB + 3.5mm Audio Out Cable?

I'm looking for a cable that I can use to both charge my phone and get audio output via a 3.5mm connector, similar to a dock. Does anyone know if something like this exists? I had something like this for my Galaxy SIII, and figured it would work with my Note 3, but the Note 3 doesn't even...

lock screen home shortcuts are gone with pin password set in note 3? Why!??!?

Just got my Note 3 a couple of days ago, and it's really frustrating that I have to either draw the pattern every time or just go with no security at all. I have it set to lock after a certain period of time and I've already had a couple instances of the phone doing things in my pocket because...

    AT&T Galaxy S3 - 4.3 update

It should be the date of the roll out, if it holds. The AT&T Official 4.3 update for the SGS3 already leaked last week, so I'd imagine it should be close to rolling out.

When will the AT&T S3 get an update??!

Re: When will the AT&T s3 get an update??! Seems possible that Samsung might not have released the update, yet, so AT&T has no idea when it'll be ready.

Charging while outputting music with one cable?

I bought one of these cables a while back, and it works pretty well. The only thing I was wondering is if anyone knows of a way to keep it from triggering S-Voice when you plug it in. While it's just a press of the back button to get rid of it, I'd prefer it not to happen to begin with.

My contacts with assigned ringtones have reverted back to the default ringtone

On my Atrix, it would randomly reassign ringtones whenever I removed/reinserted my SD card, if the assigned ringtones were located on the SD card. Could this be the problem?

    WWDC 2013?

I'd imagine it's more of an OEM issue than a carrier issue. The carrier only needs adequate time to field test (which I believe they do with iOS, as well?). It's up to the OEMs to get the update skinned and sent to the carriers in a timely fashion.

SD card fried in new Galaxy S3

This finally happened to me today. I've had the phone and SD card since late August, then today it randomly said it was removed unexpectedly. I took it out, then put it back in, and it worked for a bit, before saying it was corrupted and needed to be formatted. Shortly after that, it stopped...

Text Message Preview in Notification Bar

After a fair bit of googling, it would appear that I'm the only person in the world that wants to turn this on, rather than off, and I may be SOL.

Traveling out of country - is there a way to turn off Data?

I'm not sure which settings are different across carriers, but I know that on all AT&T phones, Data while roaming is turned off by default. On the GSIII, it's under Settings > Data Usage (Menu Button) > Data Roaming (should be unchecked to avoid charges) or Settings > More Settings (under...

Text Message Preview in Notification Bar

Yeah, I just checked, and it apparently will show the message in the bar, but only if the phone is unlocked. Anyone know if you can get it to do it with the screen locked?

Text Message Preview in Notification Bar

On my previous phone, when I would receive a text message, Handcent or Go SMS, whichever I was using at the time since I swicthed between them frequently, would light up the screen and the text message would show in the status bar, and then the screen would turn off. On the Galaxy S III, the...
