Hold your hand over the phone and wave. Like you're waving at another person. Don't just swipe your hand over it one way. I was making that same mistake at first. Just tested it to be sure.

Ended up re-sizing the video in Samsung's Video Editor app. Looks to be the work-around. Nope. I don't believe it records the audio in slow-motion.
