I disagree, I can now hang-up every time I finish a call which fixes the original problem. Removing the film has not made a difference to the issue, - I suspected it wouldnt as it didnt cover the part of the phone in which the sensor lies.

As I now have a working solution to the problem I have no need to try and implement further solutions, but I do thank you for your time.
