I wish Googs would fix the dim pic issue in photos. It's not the whole screen (buttons at bottom dont dim) and a similar thing happens to the video in Hangouts.

I had a bit of trouble with this as well... Eventually got it connected by leaving out the g2 folder and browsing to only the IP. After I got the login screen and set it to log in each time I was able to create a network place.

mbrewzer: I've never contacted Dlink CS so I don't know how helpful they are... but if I were in your shoes with a less typical model then yeah I'd definitely agree that trying their CS to report the issue and inquire about previous knowledge/upcoming fix would be something that I would try to do.
