I was willing to give them a pass because I got a great deal on the Pixel XL and could wait for them to honor it. Also, I was curious to find out what is so great about these phones and too stubborn to give up on my order. Worked out for me. I can see why others might see it differently...

That's what I did a couple weeks ago when I upgraded from a Droid Turbo to the Pixel XL...bought a 4-pack of Anker USB-C adapters and just attached them to my various microUSB cords. Power charging and data connectivity have worked perfectly, no issues.

A thing or a service is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it. Doesn't mean that it's worth the same amount to anybody/somebody else. Gouging is in the eye of the buyer.

Quick follow-up...received my QB XL 128GB from FedEx an hour ago. Set-up and Verizon activation went smoothly. Slapped a Diztronic TPU case on it to add a little protection, and now I'm off to the races (so to speak). I have spent an embarrassing amount of time over the last 6 weeks reviewing...
