when it freezes, just hold the volume up and the power button. After about 5 seconds your phone should reboot.

you can read about de-bloating, or different apps that use root access... Ie: wifi tethering, ect.

have you tried using a file manager to navigate into the system app directory to make sure the apk is gone?

I swapped my ESN this morning to my old BB storm. Made a couple calls and used the data for about an hour. I've been back on my fascinate for over an hour and haven't dropped 3g once yet. Hope this continues. I just left ComRom on my device when I did the swap. Crossing my fingers now....... :)
