Yep, tried formatting with Samsung Note 3, Samsung S5, PC SD card reader and Mac SD card reader. Nothing works. Apparently KitKat 4.4.2 has gotten rid of the ability to write to a SD card. This is most likely why I'm having this problem. Should of stuck with iPhone haha

Im having the exact same problem. Im using a Samsung Note 3 with KitKat 4.4.2. Will format the 64gb SD card then everything comes back.
