    I'm in Kenya, bought the Verizon M8 on ebay. The phone works fine but I also need to remove the Non-Verizon SIM crap! I've rooted and installed viperone M8 1.6. I tend to believe its just a small tweak needed.

    I experienced this problem earlier today. I filed away the edges on the nano-sim and the problem has not recurred since. I've also research since then and there's a trick that is almost working for everyone; addind some layer of clear tape on the simcard.

    From Verizon ROM to International version

    What would happen if I replaced my M8 verizon ROM to the one on the international versions? I'm unable to update the current ROM possibly because I dont use CDMA. Download is still unsuccessful even when a simcard is not inserted.
