Should I get a replacement battery?

Re: Replacement battery I bought a package off Amazon from Anker that included a charger and two batteries. I have found the batteries to be about equal to the stock battery.

Why does my GPS take ages to lock on and accuracy is poor?

Re: GPS takes ages to lock on and accuracy is poor. Upgrading to 5.1.1 did not fix the problem. I am thinking of having the gps chip on my phone replaced - apparently this is an issue that occurs on phones from different carriers and different manufacturers. It's really frustrating. I even...

    Alarm Clock

I'd just install an alarm clock app. I use Alarm Clock Xtreme Free. It works great.

    5.1.1 update today

Definitely more responsive. Battery life also seems to be improved. Though I was caught in an endless loop of Google crashing, trying to report it, Google crashing again, etc last night. Gave up and rebooted. No issues since.

    5.1.1 update today

Bootup is faster, phone seems faster. Not sure about battery life. I did have some issues with the screen flashing when using BBM, but other than that no issues. I had just flashed a stock 24B ROM about a week ago, so my phone was pretty clean.

Which version of Google Play Services do I need?

Go into settings, application manager, all apps, and then Google Play services. Look at the last three numbers in the parenthesis after the version number. That will tell you which version you need to download. I use apkmirror.com to download all the apks. I have an LG G3 on Verizon with...

    SD card

I know it supports 128gb cards as well. Supposedly phones that support 128gb can also support the 240gb cards as well. Then you wouldn't have any storage issues... I use SanDisk cards, never had a problem.
