I thought I'd fixed the lag issues on KitKat by changing to ART, but Lollipop has made it worse again! Terrible lag on homescreens, and also overheating issues.

Have updated to ART, and so far so good. The lag has disappeared, and response times are faster too. As far as I can tell apps are all working fine. Hooray! If you read the guidance on the other thread, remember to wait and reboot - it does seem to make a difference.

Just spotted this thread on the androidcentral forum: Lag from my LG G3 vanished! :D It suggests resetting to ART. I might give it a go and report back. It looks like it doesn't work with Verizon, but I'm on O2 in the UK so hopefully I'll be okay!

I'm getting bad lag on the homescreen redrawing in particular, and it's driving me up the wall! I'm also getting McAfee notifications despite unticking phone administrator. Otherwise it's a great phone, which is really frustrating. I've got the UK version. I've also tried other tips through...
