I'm using Google Now to initiate texts. I'd really like it if Cortana for Android handled all of it, but she just isn't there yet. Not on Android, at least.

Thank you for the tip! This is working great now. I also turned on the feature to track parking. I never remember to hit a manual version of this when I park somewhere. Having this automatic should work out much better.

I'm not noticing any significant difference in battery life. The only thing I'm looking for in this update is for blutooth to connect more reliably. It wasn't bad before, but occasionally I'd get a connection failure. So far, so good.

Why not just import the playlists into Google Music and convert over? No syncing needed anymore for the E4GT, then.

I'm curious. What car mode software are you running. I'm using Car Dock Home v3, but yours looks a lot more interesting.
