    Installing CM 10.1 on a Telus i747 - Tips for a noob? :)

What version of Android were you running before, ICS or JB? According to the Cyanogenmod website you have to update to JB in order to update your bootloader. See this website: Information: Samsung Galaxy S III (AT&T) ("d2att") - CyanogenMod Hope that helps.

Camera Smudges but Lens is Clean

Well, it's better but I still have one very stubborn smudge that just won't go away. I practically disassembled the phone, sprayed it with a ton of compressed air and tried to clean it as much as possible. Still, I'm happy that it's at least usable now. Camera Smudges but Lens is Clean

I took your advice and bought some compressed air and sprayed it as thoroughly as I can and now it is looking better! There are still 1 or 2 smudges left, so I'll try again to remove them. I hope this helps anyone else having the same problem.

Camera Smudges but Lens is Clean

Thanks for the tip! I think you're probably right. I'll give that a try. I didn't have any compressed air in the house so I tried blowing on it, but that didn't help. I'll have to go to the store and buy some compressed air. I'll report back if it works.

    sync not allowed?

Well, it seems to have gone away. After reading other threads I'm pretty convinced it is Tmobile's "MobileLife contacts" app. Try disabling/uninstalling it and see if that helps and let us know.

    sync not allowed?

I suspect it could be caused by T-mobile's "MobileLife contacts" Do you have a T-Mobile phone? Is it set to sync under "accounts and sync"? Try disabling or uninstalling it, it's useless bloatware anyways. Either that or it could be the stock web browser. I have the "Sync web" unchecked (under...
