Looking forward to the February update on my 4a5G. Battery is definitely wonky, as is my Google Assistant. The Google app is showing 33% battery usage, which seems high to me.

How long was the install time? It's a big file at 1.82 GB

OS updates don't concern me much as they seem to be mostly incremental anyway. I'm happy to see several years of security updates though and could lead me to buying a more premium version phone at a higher price knowing I can amortize the cost over several years as opposed to 2 or 3.

For the closed captioning, does it not work through the volume button for you? I am able turn it on and off there.

This is the case I bought. It seems quite watertight, but people can barely hear me when I'm on the phone with them! Looks like I'll swap between cases for when I'm at the lake or at home. My son is going to take my dunked phone and see if he can wipe and get it fully functioning again.

There is no curve. My wife has a wallet case with her 5 and it is still quite compact and pocketable.

At my cabin I create a hotspot with my Pixel and allow the Chromecast to connect to it. Then I can stream through it to my TV, albeit using cellular data.
