    Unable to Mount sd-ext

Yeah, I ordered another microSD card, and I ordered a usb <-> microsd adapter. I hope that the reason the PCs I've worked with had trouble detecting the ext(2-4) partition on the microSD was because of the particular microSD.

    Unable to Mount sd-ext

I'm trying to work with an App from the Play Store called Aparted. I don't have an adapter to connect the SD card to my PC. Besides, I've had issues getting my PC to recognize that the whole drive (of 2GB) isn't just 1.5GB of FAT32 (regardless if I use Linux or Windows 7). I'm thinking maybe I...

    Unable to Mount sd-ext

mount as in creating mount scripts in Link2SD, and also mounting in recovery.

    Unable to Mount sd-ext

I'm frustrated with this issue of being unable to mount the SD-EXT partition using link2sd using the very same methods that have been so reliable for me for years. I've done the same reset many times, and they've always worked well until very recently. Do note that this problem came up once and...

    [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO (07132013)

Re: [ROM+Kernel] MiRaGe-CM7.2-IHO Anyone else getting this problem with "Google Play services" version 6.5.99 (1642632-012) where it the data is filled up to the phone's capacity every time Google Play is opened? It's getting to the point where I'm making a habit of having to go in to the app...

Hidden ext2 partition. Not visible in Ubuntu Live, nor W7

No dice. I went back to the TWRP recovery and tried formatting 362MB OS2SD storage partition since the recovery lists the format as ext4. Turns out link2sd mounts it as ext2 even though I selected ext4 to mount. I'll try formatting again as OS2SD system partition instead. Link2SD still reports...

Hidden ext2 partition. Not visible in Ubuntu Live, nor W7

So I used the TWRP recovery and used the format tool there and set everything to 0MB to free up the invisible ext2 partition. I flashed the recovery again to CWM v3.2.0.1, and then I mounted the USB mass storage on Ubuntu Live. There, I used gparted to set most of the space as fat32 and about...

Hidden ext2 partition. Not visible in Ubuntu Live, nor W7

I made the partition using recovery on the VM670. I don't have any other card readers except for that same phone. Does anyone have any links or info as to why this happens to be? I want to be able to manage the partitions using gparted or minitool, but they just don't seem to be available. I'm...

Great response AndyOpie150! What about the best recoveries? What would be recommended recovery for each of the ROMs?

    [ROM+Kernel][CM-11.0][4.4.4][OS2SD/internal][f2fs]bigsuperROM-thunderc-4.4.4

Re: [ROM+Kernel][CM-11.0][4.4.2]OV-KitKat (JBC based) Skinbark's worked for adb, but not mass storage. Mass storage confirmed working for my machine using CWM Recovery v3.2.0.1. Is there a list of other custom recoveries for VM670? Perhaps I can use other versions of CWM even. Would there be...

    Latest Most Stable ROMS

I had trouble being certain of what I Googled as SlimRom - SlimBean was for my phone. I also have some concerns about ICS for VM670 (Optimus V) as I haven't heard anything about it ever having been stable in any way. What I'd like to know is what is believed to be the most stable among each of...

    [ROM+Kernel][CM-11.0][4.4.4][OS2SD/internal][f2fs]bigsuperROM-thunderc-4.4.4

Re: [ROM+Kernel][CM-11.0][4.4.2]OV-KitKat (JBC based) Thank you developer bigsupersquid for your contributions and community spirit. The ROM is shiny, new, and apparently robust, but the issue I'm here for is related to sdcard file management. I'm running this ROM internally since my sdcard...

    [ROM] Harmonia 1.87 Froyo (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 12June12

Re: [ROM] Harmonia 1.6.1c (Aphrodite+Picasticks) 21Sept11 Just wanted to chime in to say that I'm using the newest build off this thread, and I'm having problems with link2sd mounting on the ext partition. It works on the newest backside, and I'm formatting using clockworkmod recovery 3.2.0.1...
