I'll just say that I had my s6 edge + since December 2015 and lately the battery life was so bad I just went and got the iPhone 7 plus, I had never been an iPhone guy but I couldn't take it anymore. Battery life is much much better.

Inquiring minds want to know.

I got it yesterday, all good, wi fi calling is enabled. Waiting to see if battery life improves

Yep, on Verizon too, no security updates since December either.

I just had my daughters get an iPhone with their Verizon upgrade, I've had no security update since December and no mm yet.

I too had an lg3 where the battery life was horrible, had I known three months later Samsung would put out new phones I would have waited. I am also really disappointed with the update thing, Samsung promised to be timely with security updates but the last one I got was in December, still no...

Also no security update since December for my Verizon samsung, I thought they had promised to do the monthly security updates. This is more than a little frustrating.

I like the phone a lot, The camera runs laps around my wife's iPhones 6s, but this is ridiculous, my last security update was December and no mm yet is kind of silly.

I'm on Verizon and my security patch is November 1. I'm disappointed too, one of my reasons for buying the Samsung was the promise of timely security updates and nothing for December or January.

I was choosing between the 6p and edge plus and the camera is what did it, but it's also really fast, and since I came from the lg g3 any phone has better battery life
