managed to do this tonight. Went smoothly. Everything working after update. Will wait and see what battery life is like tomorrow. phone is noticeably snappier though, even in Nova. thumbs up so far.

I went from the S5 to Note 3 in August. Wasn't intending on getting the Note 4 but managed to get a good enough deal, and the camera on the Note 3 really made me want to upgrade. Note 3 was perfect for me other than the camera. Note 4 is the best phone I've ever had hands down.

I think you must have a faulty phone. My Note 4 outperforms my S5 in just about every way.
