Original poster here! If I restart in safe mode and the code still doesn't work, does that mean I'll have to do a reset anyway? So I know if I should back up my phone before I try. And no, not a new screen cover but I might try removing it just in case! Thanks for the help :)

Hoping someone can help! When my phone screen is locked and I try and unlock it using my pattern the screen turns black for a few seconds and then returns to the lock screen. It's not a wrong pattern, as if I draw it incorrectly it rejects the pattern. I can unlock my phone only with the...
