The more I use Quick Office the more I like it -- good doc viewer, just enough editing, and good support documentation. Seems well suited to Nexus. Would benefit from an integrated file manager to open docs off-line (I guess G wants to force use of G-Drive). The work around seems easy enough...

I need to ask a few questions - particularly about file management. Where are file copies stored? How are edited files synced with files on SD card ? Is cloud storage a part of Polaris ? Etc

Tried "Kingsoft for Android". Meets my needs -- and much more. Makes use of integrated file manager so I can copy my PC office stuff to anyplace under sd/. Good interface; lots of cool features -- and its free!

I'd like to move a folder of Word docs and Excel spreadsheets from my PC to my N7 so I can add, delete, edit, view on N7 with Quickoffice (or something else?). Do I simply USB-connect N7 to my PC and copy the folder under SD? I assume that Quickoffice will look for filetypes, display titles...

What are the file extensions (formats)? NMI recognizes most formats -- but not all. Check the list on NMI website.

I your question is "what's causing the reboot problem?" my guess is that it has something to do with Chrome. When I first got my N& I would randomly re-boot about once a week. After re-loading Chrome and several Chrome updates the problem disappeared and has not re-surfaced for many months...

For best charging you should try to duplicate the voltage/current supplied by your Nexus in-wall charger. This means you'll need to supply about 1.6A at 5V. Cell phone chargers will generally not supply this. (Take a look at charger's output specs) Result will be a much longer charge time.
