After I did that the phone started charging. But I just bought a charging port from Amazon and watched the youtube video to change the port. Takes about 10 minutes with a small husky set 16-in-1 precision screwdriver set from home depot.both were around $7 a piece. Phillip screws... :'( :-\ :-$ :D

Get a computer or a laptop. Get a usb cable and plug in in to the computer. Take the battery out. Now plug the cable into your phone. Unplug cable. Put battery back in. Phone should come on if not take sd card out and try again. You can put the battery in while cable is in Phone also.

You really don't need the home button just the power and volume down button. But take you SD card out before you do this and just see if it boots then.

Take memory card out. See if it boots now. If not press and hold the power button and volume down button at the same time. Screen will appear saying volume down button to stop down load. Press volume down. Phone will shut off and turn back on to install apps. After it finished everything I took...

Take your memory card out and try again.

Take y memory card out and try that. You device may be too full of Memory.
