There is a hidden charge when you don't buy the phone outright, it's buried in the fees. When I paid off my phone early my bill was reduced $~5/month in addition to the $17/month phone payoff. Contact customer service and have them verify it.

I have the same problem but in reverse. Verizon has no coverage at both my old home in NJ and my new one in DE. I have a femtocell in the house but that breaks HD and Wifi calling. AT&T is nice and strong so I'm jumping from the VZW ship this month.

I still have one and bought another as I'm moving from VZW to AT&T. My only complaint is Android's silly "put the notifications at the top of the screen". It makes one handed operation impossible.
