If you are rooting you dont need to back up ur rom, it doesnt change ur rom..rooting unlocks ur phone so u can do things like change ur rom. I only backed up contacts n apps before rooting which really isnt nessecary unless u do factory reset, then after u root u can change ur rom(after u bck up...
