It will have a larger screen than either S7 model so if maximum screen real estate is what you seek (in the Samsung Line) the Note 7 will fill that bill. I wouldn't use the S pen much but I wouldn't mind having an S7 Edge with a 5.8 inch screen.

This cycle Samsung has actually seen sales improve a bit without the replaceable battery-iPhone does well without it too. Unless a company like LG starts to overtake them, it's hard to make a business case for going back to it across the board-though it could show up in a specialized model.

GS7e has a larger screen, larger battery and IP68 water and dust resistance. The M10 audio is said to quite good, probably wins out in that department. Price-wise to be fair, Samsung offered the Gear VR and one year of Netflix free with preorders. The Gear VR is on backorder so they are offering...

When you consider Gorilla glass 4, the higher IP68 certified dust proofing/water resistance and the internal cooling tube in the S7 vs Gorilla glass 3 and IP67 in the S5, the S7 is more durable in some ways.

I read they stripped Touch Whiz down a bit for the S7 series. I've been with HTC for the last 6 years but the styling and screen size of the S7 Edge caused me to make the switch.
