    Gotta love the Auto-Root. It works like a champ. My only suggestion would be to download the MR2 radio from XDA and flash that afterwards. That way, VZW doesn't try to push it to your phone... I almost had this happen to me last night...

    To answer your first question, Elixer(app from Market) has a widget which will show you your signal strength as a percentage. The widget type is called Mobile signal strength.

    I am still a little suspicious nonetheless. I will keep my fingers crossed that VZW will stand behind this tweet and allow unlocked devices on their network. Time will tell I guess... Once again, congrats to HTC for making a smart decision and listening to their consumers. Props to them!
