I will keep my Note 8 until it breaks. LOL. I only regret not having access to Gmail Dark Mode. I feel like goggle and Samsung really stabbed us in the back on that.

I'd like to know as well. Mine doesn't have gmail dark mode and my chrome dark mode sucks (white fonts on gray backgrounds sometimes). Stuck in version 9 forever it seems.

All this. I'm frustrated by this loss of functionality. I want the Nav bar until I don't. Gestures kinda suck because if your screen doesn't correctly recognize your swipe, you hit wrong things...

This is remarkable. I thought you are trolling. LOL. After the update I went from 18 hours to 9 hours. It's horrible. System Server is overloading the CPU. If you close it, you restart the phone.

Have you found a fix? I have this problem on my Note 8 on T-Mobile and my battery only lasts 9 hours now.

I have a locked Note 8 on t-mobile and I have the device maintenance problem since the Oreo update. CPU is being destroyed by system_server to the tune of 13+ percent. Battery life went from 18 hours to 9 hours after the update. Has anyone found a fix for this? It's ridiculous

I have the same problem and I have the Coffeebreak app...it doesn't work for me and I'm actually of the opinion that the Volume Control Pro app is the culprit. I just can't prove it yet. I think I will uninstall the app and test it out.
