Re: Frustrated with HDMI to Micro-USB cable and Nexus 7 I think the problem is sometimes with the TV. I couldn't get my slimport adapter to display on my 5 year old Vizio LCD but works great on my new Vizio LED.

Did you have to do anything special to get it to display on the TV? I bought a cable off ebay and it doesn't do anything when I connect it to my HDTV.

Any results to report?

I want to sell my Gen1 N7, which just got 4.3 this week. I have modded/rooted it so I thought I would just do the factory reset before selling. Will it revert back to the prior verion of Jellybean? Was hoping to list the item as having 4.3 installed. Thx.
