    GPS "Finding Location" Stays On

Hi Everyone, I've had my Galaxy S5 since it came out and haven't had any issues with it yet. All of a sudden this evening I noticed that when I got to the lockscreen that the GPS icon appeared in my notification bar. When I dragged down the bar it said "finding location" which was unclearable...

Kitkat breaks foxfi (and all other apps of this kind)...any suggestions?

Great news everyone...it looks like FoxFi just put out an update that allows you to use it for wifi hot spots on the S5. When I tried starting it up, it worked, however, it first asked me to install a VPN. When I did that, it asked me to change my lockscreen mode to pin or password. When I...

Kitkat breaks foxfi (and all other apps of this kind)...any suggestions?

I've mainly been using FoxFi on my GNEX as a wifi hotspot for my Nexus 10 tablet. Since I got the S5, I no longer have the ability to get data to the tablet. At the very least, does anyone know how to use FoxFi or a similar app to USB tether data from a phone to a tablet? I see that most...

Samsung S5 Mobile Hot Spot on Verizon

Hi 3rdpig...which plan do you have, unlimited? If so...how do you set up the wire tether? I'm having trouble accessing data for my wifi tablet and I'd rather do the wired tether than nothing at all, so any help would be appreciated Thanks!

Screen turns on when I get a text

So odd that this wouldn't have a setting to turn off...I've never had an Android phone that did this before

    Using FoxFi For Bluetooth Tethering

My main issue is that I still have unlimited data, and with the S5 I'd be upgrading to Kit Kat...so doesn't that disable FoxFi's wifi capability? If that's the case, do you know how else I can get my S5 to tether data to my Nexus 10?

[Instruction] How to get a new phone and keep (legacy) Unlimited Data on Verizon

Re: Verizon: How to keep Unlimited Data and get phone on subsidized price Just wanted to bump my question...and on the topic, would both a Galaxy Nexus and S3 SIM card work fine on the S5, or would they need to be cut down?

Re: Verizon: How to keep Unlimited Data and get phone on subsidized price Hi Everyone, I was taking a look at this thread the other day and decided to take the plunge! My wife and I both have an upgrade available on our Verizon family share plan (we both have UDP's). I have a Galaxy Nexus...

    Using FoxFi For Bluetooth Tethering

Hello all, I have a Nexus 10 that I currently tether to my Verizon Galaxy Nexus via FoxFi wifi hotspot. I'm going to be getting an S5 this week and I understand that once I switch my phone to a KitKat phone, I will no longer be able to tether wifi with FoxFi. In preparation for this, I...

Verizon Galaxy Nexus 4.2.2 Volume Issue

Hi Everyone, Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but ever since my Verizon Galaxy Nexus has updated to 4.2.2 I've been having an issue with my volume controls while I'm in an app/game or listening to music. Basically if I have the volume muted or raised to its max, it will randomly default...
