The fact that you have to root and install a custom ROM if you don't want them. It's more annoying than PC bloat ware, which is at least easy enough to uninstall. When you buy a phone you should buy just the hardware, the teleco should be just a dumb pipe with no contract, and any software...

It's the Nexus 4 because it has a 4 (point 7) inch screen. Expect the names to stay the same in future releases, except for new sizes of Nexus.

Part of the whole point of a Nexus is you're not on contract.

Dude, just get a data plan

Did you have alarms or other settings that would have forced the phone to wake? That's what drains the battery in such a scenario, in my experience.

Unfortunately the 7 won't work for me as I need HDMI out. Looks like I'll be waiting a little while longer to try replacing my laptop with a tablet.
